Biography: I was born in Dillon, SC and raised in the metropolis of Latta, SC where I attended Latta High School. For you diehard Tarheel basketball fans, yes I went to school with Raymond Felton! I went on to study chemical engineering at Clemson University and graduated in 2004. Because of my desire at the time to practice engineering and conduct research and development, I decided to attend graduate school at North Carolina State University. After a few years in the lab, I decided that, with my interests in technology, patent law would be a better route and decided to attend law school at UNC! After two summers of clerkships at intellectual property boutiques, I think this has to be one of the best decisions I have ever made!
