Mission Statement:

The North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology (“NC JOLT”) is a student run journal at the University of North Carolina School of Law that focuses on the many intersections between law and technology. We define technology very broadly, covering issues in intellectual property, science, cyberspace, environmental law, criminal law, etc.

  • Intellectual Property,
  • Engineering, communications, and computers,
  • Physical, life and social sciences,
  • The uses of science and technology in law practices, adjudications, and court and agency administration,
  • Policy implications, and legislative and administrative control of science and technology, andThe business aspects of running a technology company.

The North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology has adopted the principles of the Open Access Law Program, a part of the Scholar's Copyright Project created by Science Commons. Click here to see a copy of our Publication Agreement.
